Rotary Evaporator Definition

A Rotary Evaporator is a device used to vaporize alcohol and then collect/recover it for further use. Extraction that is carried out without this device usually results in the loss of ethanol vapour. Hence, when the Rotary Evaporator is used, alcohol content can be recovered.
